Thanksgiving holiday message, I want to send you off on your way with a few new cocktail recipes

that we have here at Palm Republic for this holiday season. Now I'm going to start off with

one of my favorites, hands down, and old fashion. But this is an ornamental rum, old fashion,

something for the season, two ounces of Palm Republic aged rum, half ounce apple cider reduction, and four

dashes of black walnut bitters. Now, and all that all sounds delicious, but this is how you make it.

You smoke a glass with a cinnamon stick, which is an amazing twist. Using a mixing glass,

combine your rum, your reduction, and your bitters stir for 20 rotations. It can be less than 20,

but 20 is what the mixologist is saying, and pour over a large rock in your smoked glass.

Garnish with apple slice, cherry, and a little burnt cinnamon, the one you use to smoke the glass.

Delicious. That's going to be a hit for sure at the holiday parties.
