even though I

jammed up pretty quickly hungover smoking cigars on a balcony on a rainy day in Fort Lauderdale so I'm kind of happy with it and it's sort of been so I know some listeners don't like it when I regurgitate stuff that I've written but since this is behind the membership wall

and it's something that's still in my head and I can't and I haven't been able to follow the news with granularity the last couple days because I've been busy with other stuff except for some of this January 6th

which I've talked about now on two different podcasts my own and I'm a dispatched podcast so I don't want to

belabor that any further at least for now

so let me just sort of start there right I'm doing this all alone the no one's listening in as I record this which I have to say I sometimes prefer because it makes me less self-conscious although I don't know anyway

so basically what put this in my head was this New York Times story from earlier this week where

there's this burgeoning field of eco psychology where basically therapists psychiatrist psychologists I'm not sure

how this really does different job titles are in this field but regardless there are a bunch of people in the helping professions are dealing with a whole bunch of people who are just freaking out about climate change

to the point where they have crippling phobias about the future and think that their kids are going to inherit some sort of horrible world that is going to deprive them of even the
