Hey spring football starting man. Here we go. And this is going to be an interesting interesting spring.

You know, the new coaches coming in guys get an opportunity to set the set the tone with in front of a bunch of new eyes and and the one thing is you know when sometimes you like a guy and I like a guy and we don't like the other guy.

You know, it's it's just in the eye that we hold her. So these guys have to think about the opportunity to impress a new set of eyes.

No question. And today is the official start of spring practice March 8th and they have a star studded crew visiting. We're going to talk all about that. But first, this is kind of a holiday being spring practice kick off.

I will say going into a season with a freshman quarterback, a freshman running back and a freshman center on offense was a large hill to climb and they tackled it this year with CJ Stroud back with.

Now, Travy on Henderson back, both of whom are already Heisman favorites, then you look at the rest of the roster. They've got to replace the two first round wide receivers who showed out in Indy and there's some others to replace but Dwayne.

Aspring practice kicks off today, what are the things you need to see to make yourself feel a little better about the book guys.

Well, you got to look on the defense side of the ball. It's it's it's got to be better as exciting and it's fun and as explosive as the Rose Bowl was, we don't want that.

We don't want to be we don't want to be putting up basketball scores to win football games.

So that that is let's I'm really excited about Knowles. I did a lot of research on him, watch full games of defense of defense of every play in the in the game.

And this guy, he gets that right. You know, when I was just reading stuff about him, I just start with listening to people who have been watching him a week in a week out and I just did not agree with what what they were saying.

This guy really sends the kitchen sink to get to the quarterback.

He attacks and attacks and attacks is a 425 when the few highlights I saw at first showed me I was like this looks like a 3 3 4 or a 4 3 were, you know, they've got stacked different up front to leave the guy on the edge, but it really isn't.

It's a 4 3 they just moved the one guy around a lot and don't attack attack attack.

I just like what I saw from him. It's a swarming defense, but they play a big discipline. They're not they're not guys just have to run around.

So we get the I'm not worried about the offense. Yeah, we got to replace a couple of, but I'm not worried about that at all.

We get that straightened around. It's been the problem in the last few years.

We stayed with the same defense of coaches. That didn't.
