Hello and welcome to best laid plans.

This is your host Sarah Hart Unger and this is the podcast where we talk all things

0:14.6

planning and planning adjacent. Welcome to 2024. I'm so excited that this year starts on a Monday. We have a new year, a new month, a new week, a new day. That is so many starts. For those of you who are always asking, when do you do your daily planning, yearly planning? This is why you don't do those planning sessions all at the same time, because

0:38.8

then you'd have days like today where you had to do all of them and you'd spend the entire day

0:43.3

planning, which actually doesn't sound like the worst thing ever, but might be impractical. So,

0:48.7

yeah, I just had to share my excitement. It's January 1st. It's a new year. It's not a new decade,

0:53.6

but just so many fresh

0:55.1

Worlds, the other podcast I am part of. But this one is more detailed. And so get cozy. I got a lot of

1:36.6

goals that I set for next year. Before I get started, I'll do a little bit of background. So when did I

1:42.0

set these goals? I actually did mine on the plane

1:45.5

on the way back from a trip that I took with my college friends in November. I had done Best

1:50.8

Lied Plans Live, but I had taught Best Lied Plans Live. So while everybody else was sitting there,

1:55.1

writing in the workbook, setting their goals, I sort of did a little bit of writing, but I was not

1:59.7

quite in the headspace to goal set,

2:01.2

because as someone that was leading the course and responsible for everyone else's happiness,

2:05.4

I couldn't relax enough to like really get into my own goals. But the week after, I had my
