| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World. |
| 0:12.7 | It's happy hour. Marcus Limonis is here. |
| 0:15.3 | Well, why don't you sound happy? It's like you were very formal about that. |
| 0:18.1 | Because you're in such a rush and I want to get the thing underway so we can so we can chit-chat and have a great time. When there's drinking involved, there's no need to be in a rush. Oh, well, cheers to that, Marcus Lomonas. Yeah, cheers. Hello. So this is a limoncello spritz. It is rosé, sparkling wine. It's not champagne, because it's from Oregon, which means it's probably superior. And the Minchello, that's it. Wait a minute. So it has to be from France to be called champagne. To be called champagne, it has to be from the champagne region of France. I don't think a lot of people know that. But it's good. Good to know. Oh, that's good. This is a different place. We're meeting in a different place in the last time. The Happy Hour studio is different. It's vomit proof in case I overserve. And, yeah, it turns into a frat house. Okay, I didn't think we're going to get that dark that fast, but okay. Welcome to Kennedy Saves the World. |
| 1:11.0 | It's awesome. |
| 1:12.4 | What do you want to talk about today? |
| 1:13.7 | I think it's fun to talk with you about anything. |
| 1:16.0 | I want to continue our conversation about packing because up in the air is it's a great movie, |
| 1:23.2 | especially the montage at the beginning when George Clooney is laying out how he packs. |
| 1:27.5 | Now Walter Kern, who wrote it, he's on Gutfeld quite often, and I think he's a genius. |
| 1:32.6 | But I am fascinated with what people take on trips. |
| 1:36.7 | And so, and I go usually at least once a year, we go on a girl's trip. |
| 1:40.2 | And I have laid down the law, like, you bring a roller bag and a backpack and that's it like you I don't care how you configure things |
| 1:48.6 | but it has to be tight and bright are you an over packer why do you care about everybody else's packing situation because number one |
| 1:56.2 | it slows you down it's a pain in the ass to put stuff on a plane okay uh it's a pain in of the ass to wait a baggage claim. You're wasting time when you could be at the swim up bar. So if we traveled together, that would be like rule number one. I think there would be a lot of questions that would keep us from traveling together. But that would that's, it's not rule number one. You went with Guy. But it's, yeah, I did. And I married Guy, so. Oh, okay. Well, that's lovely. So I have a little secret. I pretend to be a great packer because I'll show with my roller bag. But when I arrive at the hotel, wherever it is in the world, you've got a steamer trunk? There will be a FedEx box waiting for me. That is the truth. And then when I leave, I leave with my roller bag, but there's also a FedEx box headed back home. Okay. So you have logistics. It's a whole supply chain of clothes. Okay. But you also have like a logistics crew. No. It's like a NASCAR pit crew. No, it's just me. Okay, but well, actually, it's my wife. Okay. And she's a packer. Like she... She's a packer, but when I met her, she refused to check a bag because of the things that you said. So you two could travel together. I'll stay home. Yeah. I don't think I've ever gone somewhere and gone, oh, I wish I brought more stuff. |
| 3:08.0 | What happens if you find great things to buy? |
| 3:10.4 | I always leave room. |
| 3:12.3 | You do? |
| 3:12.9 | Yes. |
| 3:14.5 | Okay. |
| 3:15.5 | But I never want to buy anything bulky. |
| 3:18.1 | There's never, like, I bought a lovely ring in Fiji. |
