It is called the holiday gift guide, Happy hour live and we're so excited about it for a couple reasons.

Number one, our gift guide episode that we do every single year and it comes out on a Friday in November.

Perfect amount of time for you to get your shopping done is one of our favorite episodes to record.

Hands down. It is so funny. Here's why it's fun is because we get to showcase

companies and organizations that we believe are making a difference. They're usually small businesses or they're run by women or they're black owned or they have a give back model.

We want to elevate these organizations and so we get to do that every year on our holiday gift guide.

But this year it's live. Yes, we are recording that at the end of September at a venue here in Austin, Texas and there are a couple of tickets left.

And so today we sit down and talk with him about what it's been like to create the rise and fall of Mars Hill, the podcast that he hosted Christianity today.

One thing that I want you to know is that the story of Mars Hill is about so much more than just one person in one church, but rather it encourages us to examine what we're really after in a church what we care about and who we're giving praise to.

I'm really thankful for this conversation today with Mike and what his team is creating by sharing stories that we think really matter and they're doing that over there at the rise and fall of Mars Hill.
