My guest today is Scott Salis who is senior pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church, which is a multi site community and Nashville Tennessee.

And we talk a lot about his newest book, a gentle answer, our secret weapon in an age of us against them. I want to tell you that when I sat down with Scott, I knew that he was going to be pastoral because he's so very pastoral.

I didn't know how good it would be. Our conversation had me snapping my fingers at him and clapping across the screen. You're going to love it. Here's what I need to know.

Is that gentleness is something that we cannot come up with our own. He says, stop looking for a bypass road to gentleness. You're never going to become gentle without going straight through Jesus.

I was so encouraged by our conversation about the American church and the difference between the church worldwide.
