Hey guys and welcome to the happy hour. My name is Jamie Ivy and I'm your host and I'm so glad that you're here. The happy hour is basically an hour of happiness.

This is what I like to call it. No really it's just me and a girlfriend chatting about our life what's going on in the world. But each time you're going to find something in there that you can relate to and that you can love.

And so a lot of people say they feel like they are sitting down with girlfriends to chat and that's exactly how I want you to feel. So thank you for joining me today.

Today's guest on the happy hour is my friend Sarah. Sarah and I met this past fall to influence conference and she is the author of a new book just out called Just Rise Up.

On this podcast we talk about a lot of lighthearted stuff but we also get serious. We talk about how it's hard to talk with our kids about things that are important.

Things like sex and all kinds of stuff in the world. It's hard for us to talk to them about but how we need to.

We talk about our love languages with our husbands. You'll also notice that we talk about Santa Claus and Christmas and we recorded this podcast a while ago.

Yeah. How's it going to be when I record these via Skype? I enjoy doing them via video because it keeps me. My mind doesn't, you know, you know, if you're just doing audio, your mind can wonder or you'll see some of the house that you need to work on or whatever.
