Hello, this is Andrew Womack, and I just want to say happy Easter to you. You know,

Easter is an awesome, awesome holiday that we celebrate. As Paul said over in 1st Corinthians

chapter 15, if Christ isn't raised from the dead, then our faith is in vain and your faith also is in

vain. This is pivotal. As important as Jesus coming to this earth

was and we celebrate Christmas and him becoming a man, that was absolutely essential. That is a great

miracle but it would have been to all no avail if Jesus hadn't raised from the dead. When he rose

from the dead that shows his power was not just

in word only, but in demonstration. You know, he healed people, he cast out devils, but the greatest

miracle is the fact that he had power in himself to overcome death. Death was the result of sin.

The Lord told Adam, in the day you eat thereof, you shall surely die. In Romans chapter 6, verse 23, the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God

is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Death was the real stronghold. That was the result of sin. And when Jesus conquered death,

it proved that he had conquered sin. And praise God, because of Jesus coming, living, dying, and

resurrecting from the dead, we have hope. And there's so many scriptures on this. First

Thessalonians chapter four talks about that we don't need to sorrow as others who have no hope. And there's so many scriptures on this. First Thessalonians chapter four talks about that

we don't need to sorrow as others who have no hope because we believe that if Jesus rose from the

dead, then when he comes back, he's also going to resurrect and bring all of us who have died

back to life and that we are going to live forever in a glorified body because of what Jesus did.

And we can actually get to a place like Paul in Philippians chapter 1 for me to live as Christ and to die as gain.

Because of the resurrection, this life is not all that there is.

And we've got a great future.

Eternity is going to be a very long time.

And in comparison to eternity, life here is just like a, you know, a tiny bit, like the snap
