Hey there, Jen here, and this is a happy bit. So lately I have been thinking about an article I read

0:06.2

that claimed that the electromagnetic field around the earth had changed and that this was causing

0:13.1

us to feel like time was moving faster. Now, it doesn't sound like any form of science I know,

0:18.8

but it still got me thinking that I really do feel

0:22.1

like my life is moving really, really fast. So I started looking at what might be the cause,

0:27.3

and you guessed it. It's checking email and Facebook too often. Those are what are taking my time

0:34.2

because, you know, I like to justify doing those things because of my business,

0:38.2

but I've fallen into some bad habits. I used to have rules of the time of day when I would check

said on one of these episodes, we're comparing

1:12.5

their outsides to our insides. So who's with me? We need to get a grip on this right. So we have

1:20.8

some options. First, you can turn all the notifications off so nothing shows up on your phone

1:26.6

tempting you to click. Or I'm going to do the more

1:30.6

strict route, and I'm little scared. I'm going to remove Facebook and email from my phone all together.

1:38.0

I know. This is really diehard. I don't know how long it will last, but I'm least going to do it for a week.

1:45.4

This will force me to check email and Facebook on my computer at set times, which I really

1:51.4

could use. So I would love to hear how you're going to apply this. Shoot me an email at

1:57.0

gen at genraday.com and tell me what are you going to do to reduce the time you spend on

2:03.3

email, the internet, or Facebook. It's going to make us so much happier. I already know because
