| 0:00.0 | Hey there, Jen here, and this is a happy bit. So one of the best tools I use and have used for years to |
| 0:06.8 | help keep myself happy and positive is what I call an emotional detox. So how did I discover this? |
| 0:13.7 | Well, when I hit my low point all those years ago, I just realized I was swimming with negativity. |
| 0:19.7 | I had all these hard feelings toward my mom for some |
| 0:22.7 | reason, and I know those can dredge up for anyone. She hadn't done anything all that awful, |
| 0:26.5 | but I just was remembering every little fight we had had when I was a teenager, and every little |

| 1:26.9 | hours a week for several weeks, probably eight to |
| 1:30.4 | 10 weeks. And every single time I did it, I noticed myself feeling a bit lighter. Well, I introduced |
| 1:36.9 | this to some of my coaching clients and they had the exact same experience. They reported feeling |
| 1:42.5 | lighter, like they felt happier toward their spouse, |
| 1:45.6 | their kids. It just helped in every area of their life to let go of that resentment and that |
| 1:50.8 | negativity that they'd been holding on to for so long. You can also try to apply this principle |
| 1:56.4 | in your daily life. So when my spouse is critical, maybe about something, these feelings come up |
