Dearly, Father God, thank you for another wake-up call. Thank you for your forgiveness and your grace that you give so freely. We don't deserve it. We can't earn it. Help me, help us be more like you. Help us to forgive and have more compassion, even when it's difficult. Because our first instinct is to retaliate or hit back when we've been done wrong. Your word says, be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Give a strength to refrain from behavior that does not align with your word. Kara is asking for prayer. She's having surgery this morning. Her anxiety is high. God, please keep her calm and focused on you. Stacey is giving praise that her son Jalen was baptized yesterday. And Marianna is for a prayer for her daughter. She says the world has a serious hold on her. We ask that you put a hedge of protection around her and give her discernment.
