Rebecca West is the founder of the company Seriously Happy Homes and author of the book,

Happy Starts at Home, Getting the Life You Want by changing the space you've got.

She sat down with us to explain how you can make any space your happy place.

Well, this is going to be a lot of fun because I've had the pleasure of talking with you before

and know that you take a really different approach to home design.

So I wondered as we start out if you could explain a little bit to our listeners,

how your approach is different. Oh, wow. That's a big question to answer.

We'll start out slow, you know? Okay. My approach is different because I didn't come to interior design

like with an artist mentality. I came to interior design with the idea that I just wanted my own home to feel

happy when I came home as opposed to depressing. And when I accomplished that for myself,

I realized that home design is incredibly powerful in terms of how it impacts you and impacts your

life. And then that is what I wanted to bring to other people when I joined this industry.

It doesn't matter how it looks to somebody else. It's how it feels. And then that is what I wanted to bring to other people when I joined this industry is like,
