I am your host, Mary Catherine Hamm.

I'm here with my co-host, Vic Madness, of the Washington Free Beacon.

I am not that caffeinated because I am holding to my Linton promise that keeps me to one cup

of coffee a day because I'm kind of sloping off to get to tea eventually.

So that's where I am.

Not over-caffeinated.

Definitely still underprepared, so don't worry. We are your morning

show for any hour. We got a bunch of news. The Irish PM was in town. We got economy news,

both bright and dimmer. We have the Department of Education getting cut in half. That's 50%.

I know that because I went to schools before the 2020s when they

stopped teaching math. And COVID, five years. Been five years officially. We're going to talk about

our memories and our rage. But before all that, how you doing, Vic? Happy five year anniversary,

Mary Catherine. To my marriage and to COVID.

Yes.

That's right.

It was at the same time.

We'll revisit that.

One of the things that I remember doing at that time was starting my runs because, you know, well, I would run in the gym, but it is really not the same versus like the hills

of Arlington.

Yeah.

And so that was a big difference for me. And then, of course, now, as you know, I don't run anymore.
