So Father, we come to you tonight and we pray that you bless our time together, Lord.

This is a time for us to not only draw near to you, like never before, but to also be

very wise for every one of us who named the name of Jesus that we would throw off as

it were the things that burden us and pull us back and drain us.

And Lord, that we might be refreshed tonight by the fill-in of your Holy Spirit as a church

family in these last days, with a glorious opportunity that in all of the millennia of

ages, in the thousands and thousands of years where any one of us could have been born,

you had us to be born at a time like this, and that is radically exciting.

We've all thought about how cool it would have been if we were to live 2,000 years ago and

had a chance to see you walk by in Galilee or the Lord, I for one say no to that now.

Now in your wisdom you placed us at this moment because you know it's best.

And so Father, we pray that the mantle, beautiful mantle, no doubt about it, but a mantle nonetheless

would fall as it were from the shoulders of Esther.

And light upon us, Lord, for we have come into the kingdom for such a time as this.

So we pray in Jesus' name and all God's people said, Amen.

Well church, this is a special meeting tonight.

The lights are down low so you can't recognize one another so you, now I'm kidding.

The lights are down low because I just, I want it that way, frankly, for tonight.

Part of it communicates the mood of the evening.

This is, again, a special service.
