and save more money. Today, I am pleased to have with me on the podcast, Hannah Cole.

She is the founder of Sunlight Tax, and her passion is bridging the divide between

artists and, well, taxes, business, the money, and she does it expertly. She found her passion

for helping creative businesses begin when she was an account executive and interactive producer

for a big New York interactive design agency, and she found that she could communicate across

both sides. She could communicate with the creatives. She could also manage the business.

She is a painter, so she is an artist, but she also does taxes, and she admits on the show that

she's recovering from OCD tendencies that probably has helped her in the tax arena.

So, she has a high-level exhibition history. She is familiar with all the financial challenges

of freelancers and small creative businesses. They're all relevant. They're personal to Hannah.

She told me she has 10 stories that could all show you why she is so motivated to help

creatives and artists to do their money better. At the end of the show, we basically decide that

it would just be an absolute tragedy, for money to be the reason that you couldn't unleash

I'm super excited to chat with you today. Tell everyone a little bit about your background,

what you do, and who you help. Sure. So, I'm an actual working artist. I run a company called

Sunlight Tax. I do taxes and primarily tax education and financial, my personal finance education,

for artists and creative people. And I do it because I am one of you. It's my community. It's my

people. I have lived. I like to say I don't come from on high to say how things should be done.
