How are you?

What has life been looking like lately?

I feel like it's

been crazy for you and I can't wait to talk all about it. Yeah, life's been pretty good. A lot of things,

you know, adult-ish things going on. I'm renovating my house right now and in a friend, a neighbor's

guest house right now as they're tearing out everything in my house,

which is really fun and exciting, but also definitely an adjustment. But things are going really good.

Well, you've had such an interesting career path from pageants to reality TV, now becoming a two

times New York Times bestselling author.

At what point did writing start to feel like this was really something that you enjoyed

and something that was going to become long-term for you?

I always enjoyed writing growing up.

I had said to my mom and my parents, you know, my parents that it was a dream of mine one day to be able to write a novel. So even before all the really crazy dream come true experiences that I've had, like the dream for me was to be a writer. And so now that I'm able to do that, it's been just, I'm really

grateful for the opportunity and how like life has led me to being able to have the opportunity
