Hello and welcome to Amen podcast where we preach the good news of Jesus Christ and how

it applies to everyday life.

I'm looking on your host and the title of our message today is Hangry.

So the dictionary definition of Hangry is bad tempered or irritable as a result of hunger.

And we've all experienced this from time to time, maybe some of us more than others.

And we also display our hangryness in different ways, whether you're more irritable, you're

actually angry, maybe you're more impatient, or maybe you're just like, you know, short

with the people around you.

And similarly, everyone is spiritually angry and we often go to the wrong places when

we are.

And Jesus never did that.

In fact, the Bible says that he was tempted in every way, but he was without sin.

So we're going to look how he handles temptation by looking at Matthew, chapter four, verses

one through four, and I'll read those in just a moment.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

And after fasting 40 days and 40 nights, he was hungry.

And the tempter came and said to him, if you are the son of God, command these stones to

become loves of bread.

But he answered, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that

comes from the mouth of God.

Amen.
