On Saturday morning, Dwayne Haskins was struck and killed by a dump truck while he was walking on the side of a highway in Florida.

He was just 24 years old.

Haskins was a star high school quarterback here in the Washington, D.C. area.

He was a Heisman trophy finalist at Ohio State. He was a first round pick. area. He was a Heisman Trophy finalist at Ohio State.

He was a first round pick by Washington, and most recently a backup for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
