another podcast that Jeremy Swayman might have potentially could have been was looked

at by the rumblings about him becoming a Toronto Maple Leaf in the fourth

round. It made me very sad. What? And also I didn't care.

Um, Jeremy Swayman could have been a leafstrap pick. He thought they were gonna

pick him. At least went with Ian Scott who at the time was was he not W.H.L.

Gully the year? He wasn't even at the time. He had like a pretty whole hum

draft year and then became W.H.L. Gully the year. So it's like, oh man the leaf

struck gold. They're geniuses. And then injuries. And then he had a variety of

injuries and now it's only half a decade later and he's retired. But it's this

isn't a shot at Swayman or the John Scott podcast. No, he was not. It's just that

worse from? Yeah, it's just everyone sent it to me and they're like,

oh, he's just so stupid. And I'm like, well, no, the guy's like Hipson growing

exploded. And I feel like that's no one's fault. Also the sports thing where

we're like, oh, they could have drafted that guy. Nobody drafts our crap

shoots across pro sports. Nobody knows. If a team took a player in the sixth

round, that means they passed up on that player five times. I didn't know

themselves. I think you can give people shit for the first first 15 picks maybe

first 20. I'll even give you the first round. But I don't think you can give

anybody shit for like round three or round four, even even the top of the

second round. Like there's times where it's like Alex to bring cat was a
