Yeah, now that they switched to Apple Silicon, they can call them laptops for legal reasons that they couldn't before.

So what's this story about? This is something that you uncovered.

Yeah, I thought nobody would care about it, but it's actually relatively popular.

But basically I just, there's a Twitter account that follows the Apple support

knowledge base and it tweets if there's changes to the articles and usually we use

it for like if there's a new article we might have some information in it like

Navi Pro high power mode or something like that but in this case over the last

week or so I just saw so many of these things come up and have the the tweets have a little diff like so you can click on the

screenshot and it shows you what's changed and these were like years old

articles like sometimes 10 year old articles talking about the heart bleed

exploit in intel chips from five years you know like

complete stuff that is so far in the archive no one's ever going to look at anymore

because it's not even relevant and all Apple was doing was changing the words notebooks to laptops or sometimes Mac laptops.

I was like, oh, that's weird because obviously in presentations, Apple has always used the word

notebook and I've always attributed it to like a

Phil Schiller thing like it would seem like he liked the word notebook but I don't know if
