Awesome. For people who haven't heard your name, maybe not familiar with the book,

can you talk about your background, your research? I know that this was, there was an iteration of this book a while back. Maybe you can talk about that. And then your research leading up to this particular book, hands off my food. Sure. I'd love to. So my PhD is in nutrition from UC Davis. And so I'm supposed to really be an expert in food but

what happened was I almost died largely from eating food I got super sick you know it didn't happen

overnight of course it it happened about over 20 years and the whole time I sought help from medical doctors and nobody could figure out what was happening.
