So as I've been talking about a few times in the show,

I am running out a little bit of standard orchestral repertoire

to cover on this show.

Now, as I said, I've been very happy to be diving into chamber music and solo piano repertoire, also solo violin repertoire.

I've been asked a few times about opera, which is a bit more complicated because of the language,

and my fear that I would be spending a lot of time just translating texts of

arias and choruses and things like that. So that's still something I'm working out, but in the

meantime, I have decided to start a somewhat new series. It's not going to be happening very often,

but it's something that I've been wanting to do for a while, where I take a piece that I don't know that well.

And I get a friend of mine, an expert in that piece, to come and basically teach it to me.

And I've, for a long time, been asked to do episodes on Handel's Messiah.
