Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Humday edition of the yard.

I want to start the show off. First of all, by saying thank you. There were so many people that responded to my opening comments on the show on Monday about my friend Grant.

And a lot of people have been so incredibly gracious and kind and shared their own experiences.

It's been very helpful.

It is a difficult time, but you know what?

You know, we get productive and we try to move forward.

Our loved ones that have passed on would not want us that simply fall apart.

And so the reality of it is, is the life goes on.

And that's cold sometimes, but it's true. But I appreciate so many of you that reached out. There are many others that went on a message board and you made their own comments and some people on Twitter that shared like a suicide hotline, suicide prevention number, and that sort of stuff. And so I think it's important. We have to pull together as a society, right?

I mean, we have to really cheer for each other and pick each other up. And it's difficult, too.

You know, when you've got people that kind of have their minds made up, hey, this is the end. It's difficult to talk them out out of that sort of stuff. They're really not very receptive to having those discussions with you.

So again, thank you very much. And a lot to be grateful for in life.

for in life. There's nothing about it. I want to thank the Starville Kiwanis Club for having me

yesterday, went out there and sold some books and kind of discuss football and kind of what's

going on with me. And of course, there's some other projects I'm working on. There's always some

things out there that, you know, I'm talking to people about had a meeting earlier

today about some NIL stuff and then we're gonna have a staff meeting tomorrow

and then we'll have some announcements in relation to that we encourage you to be

a partner with Mississippi State when it comes to NIL. If you have a

business, a good way to promote your business. And I'm not saying, hey, you've got to pick a side in a rivalry.

I mean, maybe you should do business on both sides of rivalry and get maybe a Southern Miss guy,
