So earlier today, we were talking with Indy Star columnist Jacob Stewart about the proposal to put a casino in downtown Indianapolis. He said for a variety of reasons, which you can go back and listen to on the podcast. It's a horrible idea. It's a kid on a little Casey show, by the way. I'm Rob. That's Casey. it's gone through a couple different ownership changes since then but for sure now he's right

Because Jacob is right about a couple of things.

The gaming lobby, every other casino in the state does not want a casino in Indy because

they feel like it's going to hamper their bottom line.

Sure, it'll draw people away from those locations.

Because there's a lot of

degenerates like myself and Indy that like action, right? And the closest ones to Indy right now are

Shelbyville and Anderson, both owned by Caesars. They will throw a fit because when those

casinos first opened up, they're called Racinos because they have racetracks attached them as well.

They were taxed more than any other casino in the state of Indiana because of the proximity to

Indianapolis. All the river boats were whining and complaining and all the places in northwest

Indiana whining and complaining that all the indie money would just go here and not anywhere else.
