Tonight I will be reading ‘Hamlet’, a play by William Shakespeare, and retold by Edith Nesbit. This storyleans towards the theme of a “revenge tragedy” about a young Danish prince who wants to avenge his father’s death after being visited by the ghost of his father, who reveals to him, his murderer whom Hamlet had suspected. Eventually, Hamlet gets his revenge...but unfortunately ends up paying a very high price for it.
