On the historic day in the Middle East, as the 20 remaining living hostages held by Hamas and Gaza are released to great cheers and relief inside Israel.

And President Trump makes an appearance before the Israeli

Knesset, where he is greeted as something of a national hero. The terror group finally accepted

the terms of, at least the first phase terms of the Trump peace plan for Gaza, the hostages therefore are out. What does this day

mean for Israel? What does it mean for the Trump foreign policy? What does it mean for Palestinians?

And I suppose for the future of this agreement in Gaza, what are the Arab states willing to do to help drive longer peace?

Let's talk about this day, moving pictures, were they not, from the Knessa and Israel?

Very much so. And it is hard to overstate just how elated Israelis are right now at this

news. I mean, there were many people. I might be among them, by the way, who never thought

that Hamas would release all of the living hostages, who thought they just couldn't do it.

And yet, under major pressure, military pressure, political pressure, it has now released all of the

remaining living hostages from Gaza. They are all out, and Israelis really across the political spectrum were overjoyed to thank President

Trump for all that he has done to make that happen.
