Well, the advances in medical science have been obvious to anyone who's been paying attention, been living longer in 20 or 30 years.

You know things that people like us and our youth knew completely differently.

For example, when I was a young kid, if somebody said the C word that you'd develop cancer, that was pretty much a death sentence.

That's certainly no longer the case today.

Treatments have been getting better.

Surgeries have been getting better, but the surgeries may be about to be taking a downturn

for reasons that may not be very clear to some people, but could be really quite a serious

problem.
