Listen, you're a fully grown person. But I just got my Sky TV and broadband and I've got no complaints.

Sky has the lowest number of complaints made to off-com for pay TV and fixed line broadband.

So recently, my friend Jen has been staying with me overnight. Her mom works a double shift and

dad isn't in the picture, so Jen texted me one night out of Insomni and asked if she could come over.

But once I got approval from my folks, we've been spending almost every night up talking and

getting to know each other all over again. It feels like ages since we hung out, really.

Thanks to lockdown and virtual school and all that.

But anyway, since it's spooky season, Jen suggested that we start watching scary stuff every night.

We're both into that jump scare crap and I figured what the hell. We didn't really have much else to do.

For the United States, we watched John Carpenter's The Thing, not the new one, the original.

And it got us feeling nostalgic about other stuff that we grew up on that we weren't

a scared of anymore or that still scared us.

The old nightmare in Elm Street was so cheesy that movie hasn't aged well, she said.

Well, Chuckie used to give me nightmares, I offered.

Giggling at the silliness of a possessed doll, probably because I used to be obsessed with dolls.

It's just ridiculous, isn't it? I told her. Jen laughed back and answered. It's not that bad.

I mean, I used to think Mr. Bad Bones was pretty freaky.

I went the way it tiered for my last laugh and mumbled Mr. Who? Bad Bones.
