I'm Carter and this took place in November of last year in downtown LA.

It was in one of those kind of old apartment buildings that were like the old banks on

like Broadway and Spring Street by all the old theaters and you know like the whole I

guess five of the neighborhood was very like old Hollywood-ish.

It's just kind of the way it felt and the building was built I think in 1912.

It was a bank and then it was like re-redone into apartments like the early 2000s

but I guess the way the apartment was set up it was kind of like an L but on

its side so you would walk in on the side of the the short end of the long end

of the L if that makes sense and then the apartment would have like this

this big room that you walked into like a kitchen on the right and it's just

like opened up until like the living room and then there was a hallway on the

end of that to the right and then a bedroom at the end of that hallway and

around November when we you know we weren't really doing much because the

COVID was starting to get crazy again and we were just kind of stuck inside

all day we just started to switch the apartment around like put

everything from our living room into our bedroom and everything from our bedroom

into our living room and you know it was just kind of like a new thing to do

pretty much I don't know it just felt like change and so I do get sleep paralysis

a lot especially like if I'm sleeping somewhere new that I haven't really you

know I'm not really accustomed to or you know if it's some work that I'm just

kind of I guess nervous sleeping and the first night I got sleep paralysis and it

was pretty it was pretty normal nothing really happened I just kind of knew
