Halloween is over, and all the monsters that you fear are crying, sniffling, snuffling. It's their saddest time of year.

The vampire puts away his cape and recovering from his mania, he turns into a bat and flies back home to Transylvania.

The ghost floats up into her house that only she can see, and prepares to spend the winter watching Casper on TV.

The witch, she puts her cauldron back in storage for safekeeping, and her magic flying broomstick is again used just for sweeping.

Frankenstein undoes his bolts, head falling to the floor. He lays down right beside it, and he softly starts to snore.

The skeleton clicks, clacks his bones, and with a solemn deference, he heads back to the med school for the students there to reference.

The mummy takes her wrappings, and unwinds them from her face, and puts them all back on the roll by the toilet just in case.

The zombie slowly shuffles, all rattling his chains. He lays down in his coffin, and sweetly dreams of brains.

The pumpkin king takes off his crown and heaves a mighty sigh, and looks forward to Thanksgiving, where he'll end up as pie.

The demon sets off running, sparks leaping from each heel. He's headed for the crossroads, where he'll try to make a deal.

The wolfman gives himself a shave with a stylish set of shears, and three bags full of wolf hair later, he's just dug who works at sears.

So Halloween is over, and all the monsters that you fear are already looking forward to coming back next year.
