Hello, today's case comes from Rob who emailed me to say,

Dear Danny, when my son Joel was free, he went to preschool near where my sister and

law Fionna lived.

Fionna has three kids of her own, and she and Joel went to collect the two youngest from school.

Theona became distracted, and Joel somehow gave her the slip. Panic set in and when she

couldn't find him she dashed home about a kilometer away to call the police.

When she got there, breathless and frantic, she found Joel playing with her elder son in the living room.

Apparently, Joel had knocked on the door.

Joel was a little upset of having got separated but told Sean that a man had helped him find his way home. Joel said he was an army man who had told him how to cross the road and what route to take back to Fiona's house.

He said the army man was very friendly and looked a bit like Granny, my mother.

It so happened that my mother's dad had been a colonel in the Irish army.

I showed him a picture of my grandfather. and Joel said that was a man who helped him home.
