I'm so excited.

Could you tell us about yourself and your background and just writing and how you got started.

Sure, yeah. Um, I kind of always knew that I wanted to be a writer.

Yeah. I started when I was in high school.

I thought I wanted to be a fashion writer at first.

And then, so throughout college, I did fashion internships and I majored in communication arts which was kind of like a make your own major at my school so it was a lot of communications classes, journalism classes, stuff like that.

And then sort of once I got out of school I started working at a hair salon just while I was freelancing trying to make money, just like through a mutual friend I got the job and that sort of really opened up the world of beauty for me in a way more viable way as a career option.
