Hello, there's just a quick word before we begin. This is Hall of Mirrors, which was

podcast in two seasons between 2007 and 2008. For this version, I've restored the original Hall of Mirrors themed introductions, which have been missing from the recording since 2012.

I've done so, if for no other reason, then you'll have some idea as to why the show is actually

called the Hall of Mirrors, because without them they're just, well, stories.

Anyway, all the stories in the first season were written before One Among the Sleepless, and the second season also featured three stories written between One Among the Sleepless and Underwood Flinch, those being Salvation, the Green Man, and Night Crossing.

This last one you may well have listened to already, as it's the story that introduces Underwood

and Flinch, and it is the first podcast episode in this feed.

Incidentally, I wrote Night Crossing after I'd finish the first complete draft of the Underwood and Fl novel because at the end of the whole

of Mirrors podcast I wanted to include some kind of introduction for my

listeners to my new novels characters partly to beak their interest, but also to help ensure that they

didn't unsubscribe when Hall of Mirrors ended, which happily most of them didn't, and

were all present and correct when I began podcasting Underwood

Finch about a month later. Oh and speaking of Underwood and Flinch I've also

included in this batch a story I wrote a couple of years ago that wasn't in the original Hall of Mirror's seasons.

I've added it here because when I first podcasted over at Patreon, I revised the Hall of

Mirror's format for it, and so, well, this seems like the most sensible place for it.

It's called Incident at the Crossroads, and it's the last episode.

So, that about covers it. Time for me then to hand over to
