Salvation Part 2.

Now here's an unusual customer and no mistake.

Dr James Blake pointed to Jeffrey with a subtle inclination of his pen as he and Dr Lucinda Scott walked along Jeffrey's ward later that day.

Came in last night, heart attack, found in a hotel room after an anonymous caller contacted

room service. James stopped Lucinda with a light touch on her arm. He arched an eyebrow. A young lady. How young? The two doctors regarded

Jeffrey at a distance as he dozed the midst of wires and tubes.

Let's just say that when he checked in it was with his daughter, but when he checked

out, she had mysteriously disappeared.

Lucinda grimaced slightly.

Any family come forward?

Daughters or otherwise?

James shook his head.

Not yet.

He had another attack on the gurney as the ambulance crew were bringing him in.

We lost him for a bit, but managed to jump him back after a few jolts.

How long did you lose him for?

Forty, fifty seconds, maybe more.

Lucky man!

James nodded.
