We've got a lot to get to today, including earnings from the container store and coach,

as well as some wild speculation about how Apple and Chipotle are going to do when earnings come out later today,

but we begin with BP and JP. We might as well start with you.

The company reported earnings earlier today, but we were talking before the show you were a little

less concerned about the overall earnings numbers and had one number in

particular or one set of numbers excuse me in particular that you were

looking at what were they yeah the interesting part of this whole story for me is just kind of the continued effects of the big Gulf

spill, right?

So here we are what, like five years later and the company is still paying out tons of

money just because of one particular event it kind of speaks to the whole thing of

maybe you should always be leery of like one-time items and things like that, right?

We kind of knew this would last for a while, but what you saw in the stock, right?

The spill happened, the stock got what, like cut in half.
