And in honor of our seventh anniversary, by the way, Julie, I've been seeing nonstop time hop pictures coming up of our seventh anniversary. Isn't that wild? It's crazy. I cannot believe we've been doing it this long. I know. Since COVID happened in the middle of that, it feels like 20 years ago. It does. I don't even know how to describe that. But you're absolutely right. It feels like 20 years that we've been doing this. But since it is our seventh anniversary, thought we should re-air our very first episode. And please people don't hate us if we end up doing this every March because this is a really great episode. Thanks in part to

Ron's story at the very end. Yeah. In fact, I had a revelation recently while I was watching Antiques

Road Show, which I do because I'm old. I love it. Anyhow, somebody brought in a Martin acoustic

guitar that was very old and it was worth like over $10,000. And that's when I learned that Martin acoustic guitars, they were founded in 1833.

So Ron says in his story that the Confederate ghost seemed to be playing a Martin acoustic guitar.

But when I heard him say that the first time, I thought, there's no way that they predated like

the Civil war.

But the war started in 1861 long after 1833 when they were founded.

Furthermore, you're going to love this.

You know, we decided that the ghost that Ron saw was Brigadier General James Johnson Pettygrew.

Right.

Because they were in his state park and he's buried not far away.

Well, James Pedigrew died in 1863 and was known to be an accomplished musician. So it wouldn't be a

stretch for him to have a Martin acoustic guitar, right? That's amazing. I love that. I feel like that's

just an extra level of confirmation that this really did happen. That's what I think, too. So here we go. Our very first episode from freaking

2019, the ghostesses are up there.

All of a sudden, from around that little corner, I see these neon green figures floating

towards me. And he said, what is that?

And I moved the branch and I looked and it was this big, hairy something.

It was the weirdest feeling and I just was like, I just want to get out of here.

It was so real to me and nobody believed me.

She started saying, I don't want to go upstairs because of the ghost sis. The ghost sis are up there. So that is my ghost story. Hi, and welcome to Haunted A.F. We are your host. I am Julie Fiss.
