Nearly everything we do in life is the result of our habits.

The best thing we can do is to keep God first in everything, so let's get disciplined about spending time with him.

Now, tonight we're going to talk about

forming the habit of putting God first in everything.

Because I'll just tell you the truth,

until we learn how to put God first in everything,

nothing else is going to work out.

Can I get a hearty amen from

anybody on that? Some of you have learned that the hard way. You don't put God first,

nothing else is going to work out. But if you learn how to abide by the law of first things,

then it's amazing how our lives

can work so well.

You know, God doesn't want us just to receive him into our lives for emergency times.

He doesn't want us to just call on him when we think we're in serious trouble and over

our head.

To be honest, you're over your head all the time.

And you're always in serious trouble without God.

So, Father, we pray tonight that as this word comes forth, that you would give people ears to hear and that people
