What do you think about that? I'm thinking about doing it anyway. So the state of California

has made it illegal to travel in the state at all and use a hotel for tourism or leisure.

And I was thinking about going somewhere just just to go somewhere. You know, we don't do

anything just to go somewhere over the two week break. We've had so little fun and excitement

over the last nine months like like everybody else do it. Do it. Yeah. Yeah. And as a

lesson for the kids, I think this rule is stupid. So I'm not going to follow it. I don't

know if that's a good lesson or not. Seems like a slippery one because when you're yeah,

exactly because when you're young, there's a lot of rules you think are stupid and turns

out there's a good reason for them. Right. Boy, that's a tough one. On the other hand,

all of us grew up with the story of the American Revolution and taxation without representation.

By the way, it's probably worth repeating that everything we learned about the revolution.

You remember that taxation without representation, the stamp act, Boston Tea Party, all that

stuff. What did all of that have in common? It was all about economic liberty. Tri-cornered

hats. Oh, no, it's economic liberty. No, it's economic liberty. The right to earn a living,

the pursuit of happiness, which is what the various, you know, idiot governors around

America are trampling on right now. And they're not backing it up with any solid data.

So fight it. And you know, I grew up with the American Revolution stuff and not only did

we break those rules, we threw the tea in the harbor, then shot the guys who came to enforce

them. So yeah, I think resistance to excess authority is a bit of a slippery slope with

kids, but you got to teach them that that's okay. Teach them to be citizens, not subjects.

What I say by God, you know how fashions come and go for no particular reason. Well, the
