So right before you came on, we played the highlight of Curtis Mead going yard yesterday against the Cardinals.

I was unaware that he was Australian. It just shows you you have to turn over every stone

when you're scouting baseball players. They come from all you know corners of the globe

tell us how curtis bead started in australia and now wound up with the washington nationals

yeah um so he was a he was a good prospect coming out of australia uh he bounced around a different

a couple different organizations. Blake

Boutera actually had him in A ball. And he was, he was formerly, you know, one of the top

prospects in the game. He was part of a big trade. It was like, I think, Curtis for Christopher

Sanchez. And he's bounced around a couple different spots. And now we're lucky to have him. He's playing well. So it's been fun getting to know him a little bit and I should say too, he was, he liked messing with people about it. Like I think so when we traded for him, we're like, hey, where are you? And how long is it going to take to get to Philly? And he's like, I'm in Australia. so it's going to take whatever it was Oh yeah Obviously he was messing with us
