You guys got new gigs because you're moving up in the world. Is it the last time? You ever been to this studio? No, I was at the one that was out by |
0:54.5 | Crofton, I think. Or it was in the Carrollton. Yeah, out that way. We're in your vagabonds. We move around a lot. We go to different spots here. All right. It's good to see it, man. Great to see you guys. Wonderful. I was out to practice this morning. I was out for a four-minute interview. I had to get up at five in the morning. |
0:52.2 | Oh my God. Those was CBS W-U-S-A folks. If it wasn't for the great Glenn Brenner, I would never have done that, you know. But I came out there, did my little four-minute gig, and then Chick Hernandez also, he wasn't there, but he asked for his show. They asked a bunch of questions. So it worked out good. And I got to see all the people come in for the, for the practice. They moved it up to 8 o'clock, a little bit cooler, you know. Joe Gibbs did that too. He had a morning practice and then he'd have one also at like 8 o'clock at night to kind of, you know, for double days, you know, back in Carlisle. So, but it's good. A lot of great fans coming out and a lot of good people and pretty excited to watch his team. Do you think it was better like going away, like to Carlisle being like, I don't know how far away that is 90 minutes, two hours away from the D.C. area or is it better that the players can stay in their own places? And is it better to build bonds with your teammates being away like a small college? There's a lot of distractions, I think, having staying home, you know, and with, you know, just the constant, you know, being around fans. Now, you could really tell the fans in Carlisle because they came, you know. |
2:18.2 | They had, it was a whole day trip, you know, they got up early in the morning. They came out there to watch the double days and we had a pretty good fan base in. But now, gosh, what they got going on there is just like a city. It's crazy. It's unbelievable. Well, I was going to ask you, I don't know where you lived when you were playing for the skins in the 80s and early 90s, but I live in Ashburn now. And I've been there for 20 plus years. Can you believe how different Ashburn looks? Because it was all farmland when you were there. Dulles Airport. I mean, there was nothing. Where did you live? I lived in Reston. Okay, you're resting Reston. But, you know, when we had our old facility right there on 28, old Redskin Park. Oh, you were going to that even? Oh, yeah. Well, that was, you know, you learned how to play football. You, they built this new facility for us the first couple of years. We forgot how to play. You know, you have to tell all these hot tubs now and uh cold plunges |
3:09.2 | and massage therapists and chiropractors and you know red green and yellow for food you know which |
