Summary

Gio wonders what’s worse, decaf coffee or non-alcoholic beer. We took a lot of calls from people who drink decaf and want to fight Gio about it. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Chargers beating the Raiders to improve to 2-0. Jim Harbaugh talked about it being a ‘blue collar game’. Aaron Glenn met the media and compared the season to Legos. He also said a season is not ‘instant coffee’. In the past Robert Saleh called the NFL an ‘instant coffee’ world. The Yankees were shutout in Minnesota, 7-0. The Phillies clinched the NL East. The Moment of The Day: Adam Schein on the Chicago Bears: Amateur hour. In the final segment of the show, we talked about the upcoming final games of the regular season for the Mets. 8-4 in the last 12 will guarantee them a spot. Gio thinks they will go 6-6 and still make it.
