Summary

We started the hour talking about the Yankees and whether their fans want to face the Astros in the playoffs or if they are trying to avoid them. Two of our Yankees fans called and neither thought they could make it to the World Series. Boomer said the AL & NL are wide open for any playoff team to make it to the World Series. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees barely beating the Twins even though they had a 10-1 lead. Francisco Lindor’s wife played the National Anthem on the violin before the game. Lindor himself homered a little while later. Cal Raleigh hit 2 more home runs to make it 56 on the year. Jerry Jones was asked about the phrase, ‘glory hole’. Stephen A. Smith talked about Molly Qerim leaving ESPN. In the final segment of the hour, Gio’s wife had to go into the city last night for a friend’s birthday and that sounds like a nightmare.

No one that was inspecting his testicles over a mirror? Good question, Dan. Yes. Good question. Yes. All right. Second quick thing before I get to the Yankees-Teg Boomer, they were mentioned during the opening second. You guys were talking about Beningo and his podcast since you retired and then Steve Summers and his podcast since you retired. You're going to do a podcast when you eventually retire in 20 years? 2:13.0

yeah okay all right so yankees thing i don't want to i don't want to bring on the Astros. I have no interest in that. You were saying G. O'Dore in the opening segment that you wonder what the Yankees fan take is and who they want to see for the postseason. I think the rational Yankees fan take should be. We shouldn't want to bring on nobody. We are not a dominating, consistent club. We, you know, one two out of three against the Blue Jays and the Astros, yes, but then we crap the bet against the Tigers. Look what we do in the first game against the Twins. We almost blow the lead last night. There's no consistency with the relief. There's, you know, minor consistency with the starting pitching. We're not fundamentally sound.
