thank you for joining us you're joining us this morning because the office of the deputy mayor for planning and economic development that's DMPED released a study outlining the actual and potential fiscal economic and community impacts of professional

sports in the district.

And I would like to stress that's a mouthful cake.

Why is that, Mayor? Well, you concentrate on DC sports you have a you know a point of view that we know is

interesting to fans of our

and you always work with our office to get that news out.

So I'm happy to bring the Dempeds sports team study to you.

We were, I think last July we went out to that part where I

announced that we would create the Dempitz sports team and one of their big

task was to look at all of the needs for our sports

teams across the district now and in the future and that's what we're

delivering today. Is the I correct I'm sorry should I is the idea behind this this is a way to kind of get the public and get everyone behind this the you know to bring the commanders to DC. Is that the ultimate idea behind this report?
