Who do you generally negotiate with?

Is it the general manager?

Do they have a chief negotiator?

How does it work?

Typically, most teams have a team negotiator,

and a lot of times a team negotiator will outlast the regime changes.

Right. In Tennessee, Ben Marino has been there since 2007.

They've had multiple head coaches and GMs.

I know they brought someone over, I think, from the league office,

which is where a lot of these guys come from through management council around the league.

So Adam Peters has more of a scouting background that hasn't been his domain, at least in San

Francisco.
