All right, Boomer and Geo, coming in live for the build for Tough Studio on the fan and CBS Sports Network.

Talked about everything this morning, except really for the New York Giants and Andrew Thomas trending towards playing this week, a little bit more so than the first two weeks.

And, you know, I really do believe, just like everybody, that there are a few guys on that roster that means so much of this team and could really be a factor in winning or losing.

And I actually think that, you know, a guy like Andrew Thomas could affect a point spread, in my opinion, when it comes to him starting at left tackle or not.

Now, the Giants offense looked pretty damn good without Andrew Thomas last week, but you also had his replacement be a complete disaster mental case that cost them a touchdown early on in the game on the first drive.

So you could look back at that.

But getting him back is such a huge deal this week.

And I just, if he can play and the Giants defense looks anything like it did in week one,

then at that point, I could start to believe that they could win more than three games.

So that's the most positive thing I can say about the Giants right now.

But, but that's not a bad thing to say though. But that's like if he's back and the offense can sort of just give you a little bit of that. And then the defense looks like it kind of did in week one. Then okay, maybe I could see them win in six games. The issue I would have would be the if part of the defense. Like that's the one thing as we went through this summer and I looked at this team that I was, for lack of a better term or phrase, hanging my hat on when I was looking at this team. I really thought, and I've seen a lot of the breakdowns that, you know, Kavon Thibodeau, while the numbers aren't great, has been very active. But like I like double-digit sacks from all these guys i'm

expecting dexter lawrence to be a force that is going to be very difficult to run on um i'm expecting

quarterbacks to be harassed on every passing down and while they've been okay they were brutal

against the cowboys in the second half last week the cowboys went up and down the same way they went up in the infield on the Cowboys. They just haven't done, I'm putting the offense aside for a second, as bad as week one was. Week two, to me, I think the offense lies somewhere in the middle. What we saw week two and week one, defensively, I don't expect it to be in the middle i expected to be much

better than we've seen and if they are not going to put consistent pressure on every quarterback

they're not winning three they're not yeah and yet if they do and you give the offense a chance

and they're not hanging 37 or 40 points on you then i think they've got an opportunity to be a decent NFL football team. Good, no, bad, no. Somewhere in the middle. So far, they're 0-1-2. It's funny, when I looked at the season, I thought split the Washington, Dallas two games. They didn't do that. And then I thought split the two games with Kansas City and San Diego, or L.A. with the Chargers.

And I was thinking, well, maybe they get the Charger game. Now I'm thinking if they don't win against Kansas City, it'll be 0.4. Yeah. Because the Chargers look great. Yeah, no, absolutely. And that's sort of what I had projected for them. I mean, a lot of people did looking at the schedule and Boomer used to fight back, but you don't know what it's going to look like when you play these teams and that's true for a couple of teams like joe burrows out j j mccarthy's out and we've seen these injuries justin fields is out um but and then after that i mean you're you're talking about it's a colit after the saints you got philadelphia two out of the next three weeks and you have to go to Denver. Oh, by the way. I mean, it's just a, I mean,
