Sunday is going to be a big game for the Washington commanders. We're hoping that Jane Daniels comes back healthy, but the question is, is their

defense good enough? In Sheehan talking about whether the team can win with the defense this bad.

They can win 10 games without the defense being significantly better, but they can't make a deep run more likely than not like they did last year without improvement.

I think the biggest problem they have is they don't have a special pass rusher.

If you've got a special pass rusher that the other team needs to game plan for, maybe you can mask the deficiencies you have on the back end.

That would be my biggest concern is maybe they're a little bit better stopping the run, but the quarterbacks they have on their schedule, some of the offenses they face, they not you know good enough up front to cover

up for what they've got going on in the secondary yeah I mean he's not wrong

this is a team that kind of cobbled together the edge rusher spot by bringing

in aging veterans like bond Miller yeah They signed Preston Smith off the street

a couple of weeks ago.

We'll see if he makes some sort of impact.

They bypass any sort of edge rusher.
