I was unaware of this.

If you win a lottery in the UK, they do not tax you on the prize money.

I mean, that's huge.

So if you win $4.5 million, you win 4.5 million?

You get the whole 4.5 million.

Crazy.

So this kid is 19 years old, and I guess he's getting blowback about not splitting or giving

like half or more of it to his parents and I guess he went on to

Reddit and put like a subreddit page basically asking am I an a hole for not

splitting this lottery winning with my parents and I'm I'm curious how does

listeners think 800 636 1067 he's 19 years Okay. Is he still living at home? I did not see that. If he's 19, he's an adult. He is an adult. He doesn't owe his parents anything. He doesn't owe them anything. Especially if he's living on his own. If he's living at home and he's still, you know, getting free food.
