But we wanted to touch on what happened in Major League Baseball last night. They held a really cool event where they went back to a Negro League stadium, Rick Wood Field, the oldest ballpark in America.

I was on 14 years old.

Yep.

And they played a big league game between the Cardinals and the Giants, the first

regular season big league game ever in the state of Alabama honoring

Negro League players from many, many years ago.

Willie Mays grew up two miles from Rickwood.

Correct.

Started his career. Basically born there.

By playing for the Birmingham Black Barons while a high school junior.

Think about that. High school junior playing in the Negro leagues.

I mean just an amazing, really amazing event honoring, know the people who were playing weren't allowed to play in the

major leagues at that point and think about Mays when he came into Biggs in 1954, and he made the All-Star team every single year that he was in the league.

And he won 12 gold gloves, and the only only reason only one 12 is because they

didn't start voting on gold gloves right until his 12th year he would have

won 24 gold gloves yeah they're voting for it but yeah it's it's how many guys have done that where they were voting for it, but yeah, it's incredible.

How many guys have done that where they were voted in the All-Star game every year they're.

I'm gonna think maybe like Brooks Robinson.
