I gave that into my daughter. She was wearing a little bit. Yeah. I picked out a couple of hats, a couple shirts, hoodie, whatever. I can't tell. Are you wearing a starboard sweatshirt right now? No, sir. No, sir. This would be a Peter Millar sweatshirt. Thank you. Very nice. Thank you. Very nice.

I learned this morning, I haven't really been checking out the NHL playoffs that much.

I think I could have named all four teams that were alive.

Yes.

Down to three because the Vegas Golden Knights advance.

And what I learned is this is their third trip to the final in nine years.

They've only been in the league nine years.

Yeah, I don't love that amount of success for them in basically a decade.

I mean, the caps have been to two cup finals and they've been around for 50 plus years.

Yeah.

So they've gone to three. Which, by the way, isn't terrible because there are some teams that have never been there. It's not terrible, but I don't like when young upstart teams that have been around for five minutes go to more cup finals than the team that I root for. They won a few years ago, right? They won it. Yes. Like three years ago, maybe. But glad that the caps gave them the business when they made their first cup final. Because they made a cup final in their first year of existence. So if you are a Vegas Golden Knights fan, every third year you're in the Stanley Cup final. It's pretty nice, right? It's a pretty nice thing. Every third year. It's great. And they smoked the avalanche who won the president's trophy. Get out of here. And the avalanche dominated the regular season. Yeah. Led the league in scoring. And then the scoring dried up in this year. Do you know how many straight years the President Cup winner hasn't gone on to win the Stanley Cup? Oh, it's a good question. It's like 15, 13 to 15 somewhere 13. I think Montreal was the last, no, Chicago was the last one to do that. So you can have the best record in the NHL. And odds are you're not going to win it. Trust me, as a Caps fan when they won President's trophies and then flamed out in the playoffs, don't want any part of that President's trophy. I feel like that was like in the early 2010. No thank you. In that era. Leave that to other teams. They can win it. They can rack up all the points during the regular season. That's fine. Hockey's crazy. You want to be good, but you don't have to be the best in the regular season. Colorado went 8 and 1 in the playoffs before they faced the gold Knights. They were smoking everybody. And they got swept. Did you guys deal with the heavy fog this morning? Zippy fog. I didn't really notice it. He won. A little bit of missed. Oh, there's a huge fog right here on the Potomac. I guess you're not driving by the Potomac. Nope. I drive down the BDub Parkway. I drive through the wharf, so it's kind of near the river, but I didn't notice the fog. I mean, the first thing you see when you go to weather.com, which I just went to, it says fog, but I didn't really notice it. Yep. Is this what it's like to live in Seattle? You know how you always hear that Seattle? it rains all the time? I would guess. I mean, I've never been. I mean, drab t-shirt is the closest person we have this lived anywhere near Seattle. But, yeah, I would guess the last, like, basically like what we experienced in Dewey Beach, to me, that screams Seattle, London. They have a high suicide right there. I mean, you just have to kill yourself. I did. It's extended, though, because it rained yesterday. It's going to rain today. You guys couldn't be more wrong. It missed in Seattle all the time. It doesn't rain like it wasn't Dewey Beach. And also, it doesn't rain in the summertime there. The summer's awesome. Like October through March, it's horrible.
